Gorseland

I went to my favorite boutique to buy a bottle of Firewater but left with a bottle of this as well because it's such a beautifully unique scent--florals aren't my favorite, especially yellow and white ones, but Gorseland is beyond any floral that I've smelled. Most florals personally remind me of funeral homes, but spraying on Gorseland is like walking into a forest meadow so rich and lush with life that your mouth waters from the smell of foliage and verdancy in the air. And don't even get me started on layering this one with Firewater... immaculate.

This smells exactly like gorse. I was walking by a sea loch in the north west highlands and my boyfriend said, ‘that gorse smells great even without flowers’, but of course we realised it was me he had smelled. All my other perfumes have been relegated. This is a complete masterpiece. Also, the packaging is perfect and the shop is lovely.
